Responsibilities
Applies quality core tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department during product development.
Performs Quality Engineering of design documentation for compliance with internal and Customer specific requirements.
Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
Communicates significant issues or findings identified during quality assurance activities such as line audits, ME2, MPRC, and supplier visits.
Participates in activities to solve problems identified during Product development and Mass production.
Prepares and Presents technical and Analytical information to team and management.
Prepares Reports to communicate to customer according to customer specific requirements and JSS internal procedures.
Maintains electronic investigation files up to date including 8D, 5W, and any other documentation related.
Gathers data and performs problem-solving to control and improve the quality of production processes.

Demonstrated use of problem solving tools (8D, 5-Why, Design of Experiments)
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to effectively interface with internal and external contacts at all levels
Excellent program management and quality technical skills
Ability to work in a team environment across all functions with strong team building skills
Strong bias for action - goal oriented
Willing to travel as required
PC computer and software skills
FMEA, APQP requirements, reliability / statistical methods, problem solving skills
Bachelor Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering
2+ year of experience
