Responsibilities

On-site technical lead
Provide daily work direction to the onsite project subcontractor and technicians on assigned projects.
Deliver projects on-time, on-budget to a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Provide input to develop a comprehensive installation plan including sequencing of tasks, scheduling, staff planning, and collaborating effectively with the customer, subcontractors, and other Honeywell Future Shapers to execute the project according to plan
Proactively address potential project problems. Assist the project manager to manage project risks. Develop and implement recovery plans when required. Escalate issues when required.
Contribute to the profitability of the project by supporting project adds, minimizing deviation, and providing technical assistance to sales.
Effectively communicate project progress to the program management team and client.
Develop and manage project communication plan requirements including look ahead schedules, weekly report agendas and minutes in addition to client and management reporting.
Ensure all work performed follows state, local and federal requirements.
Ensure all Honeywell and subcontractor staff adhere to all required safety standards and protocols.

Required

NICET III Certification within 90 days
Fire Alarm Programming Experience and Certifications
5 years of experience programming and supervising installation on commercial or industrial construction projects
5 years of experience using Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project
Ability to accept assignments which require frequent travel and overnight stays
Effective communication skills and the ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience
Must pass a US Government background check

Preferred

PMP Certification or Certified Construction Management (CCM) Certification
NICET Certification – Level III
Previous experience with Verifire programming tool
Previous Federal Government Contracting Experience
Associate degree or technical/professional certificate
Good presentation skills
Previous technical/installation experience
Good written and oral communication
