Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate work of assigned Office Engineer(s), Project Engineer(s), Field Inspector(s), and other subordinate staff to ensure that all job site technical functions proceed on schedule.

Provide technical expertise and advice to staff and contractors on resolving complex problems related to construction, renovation, or rehabilitation of facilities.

Develop technical scope for field change notices and letter change orders.

Prepare staff performance plans and evaluations and participate in hiring, advancing, or terminating assigned staff.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required.

Registration as a Professional Engineer

Minimum of Five (5) years experience in the construction and administration of Contracts & Procurement, Programs and Contract Management, or elevator and escalator projects are required.

Extensive knowledge of contract development and management principles, including design review and contract testing, is required.
