Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design and architect cloud infrastructure solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
Deployment and Automation: Implement and automate the deployment of cloud resources and services using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and configuration management tools.
Security Implementation: Implement security controls and best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data and applications hosted on the cloud platform.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Respond to and troubleshoot incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed for cloud scale and resilience; provide technical support and guidance to operations and development teams.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies; implement governance frameworks to manage cloud resources effectively.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, procedures, and operational processes; share knowledge and best practices with team members.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience (X years) as a Cloud Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role, with hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); certification in one or more cloud platforms is preferred.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices; experience with implementing security controls in the cloud environment.
Knowledge of networking concepts, virtualization, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed cloud environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
