Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the New York Metro Area.
Meet or exceed sales targets by selling commodities into a competitive market.
Conduct cold calls, handle objections, and engage in value selling to reach decision-makers.
Work independently and as part of a small team in a satellite location.
Demonstrate consultative selling style and strong communication skills.
Utilize NetSuite ERP system (familiarity is helpful but not required).

Required
Two years prior B2B sales success selling commodities into a highly competitive market
Proven track record of hunting and developing new business
Optimistic outlook, good at listening and asking questions
Ability to handle rejection and develop strong relationships early
Consultative selling style
Excellent cold-calling skills, reaching decision makers, value selling, handling objections
Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
Ability to work independently and with a small team in a satellite location
Adaptable, unafraid of new technology
Goal-oriented and organized
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable in an inside sales role with a focus on growing existing accounts
Experience in Industrial or Construction supplies sales (helpful)
Familiarity with NetSuite ERP (helpful)
Ability to work in an office 5 days a week in Congers, New York
Preferred
Prior success selling Industrial or Construction supplies to Construction Companies
