Responsibilities
Develop and execute merchandising and promotional strategies aligned with overall business objectives, focusing on revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to optimize merchandising placements and promotional offers, ensuring relevance and effectiveness in driving customer engagement and sales.
Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation and conceptualization through to launch and ongoing optimization. Define product requirements, prioritize features, and manage roadmap alignment with business goals.
Work closely with teams across marketing, sales, UX/UI, technology, and analytics to ensure alignment and successful execution of merchandising and promotional initiatives.
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats. Use findings to refine strategies and stay ahead in the competitive landscape.
Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of merchandising and promotional campaigns. Continuously monitor performance and iterate strategies based on data insights and feedback.
Lead and mentor a team of merchandising specialists and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.

Required
Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management roles, with at least 3 years specifically focused on merchandising and promotions in a B2C ecommerce environment. Experience in a mid to large-sized enterprise company with a reputable ecommerce platform is highly preferred.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful merchandising and promotional strategies that have driven measurable business results.
Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in using data analytics tools and techniques to derive insights and inform decision-making.
Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing direct reports. Ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving ambitious goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Preferred
Experience in a mid to large-sized enterprise company with a reputable ecommerce platform is highly preferred.
