Responsibilities

Lead solution alignment workshop sessions to gather customer requirements and critical business challenges

Collaborate with members of Axway teams as well as client-side resources

Install Axway API Management solution in high availability environments

Integrate with Axway Amplify Enterprise Marketplace

Conduct deployment and optimization tasks across the full API Management life cycle including design, creation, orchestration, protecting, security, deployment, promotion, and monitoring

Mentor (informal enablement) and train (formal classrooms) clients on solutions

Assess existing customer implementations and provide recommendations / best practices

Analyze and execute significant infrastructure updates and product upgrades

Map customer requirements to a solution approach and work estimates

Required

Experience in system and/or application administration using Linux

Experience with tools in the Software Development Life Cycle including source control (git), build systems (Jenkins), issue tracking (JIRA), and requirements management

API Management Concepts

PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and X509 certificates

HTTP and related technologies experience

Experience building and using web APIs (SOAP, XML, REST, JSON)

Experience testing web-based APIs (APIs based on REST architecture)

Experience in the web application security and federated identity industry

SAML, WS-Fed, WS-Trust, OAuth, OpenID, XACML, Kerberos

Experience with Databases RDBMS and NoSQL (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra)

Experience with using Docker or Ansible

Experience with deploying container-based cluster engines using Kubernetes and/or OpenShift

Understand cloud related technologies

DevOps: Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins

Experience with: Joomla, HTML, CSS

Application development languages (at least one of the following): Java/C#/Groovy/Go, Javascript, Python/Jython, Shell (Bash)

Preferred

Experience with API Management Platforms -- Axway/Vordel APIGateway, Apigee, CA/Layer 7 APIGateway, Akana, SoftwareAG

Web application development experience

Microsoft ADFS, CA SiteMinder, Oracle Access Manager

Experience with Mobile development

Experience with network concepts (OSI Layer) and tools (Wireshark)

SaaS Application Integration
