Responsibilities
BI Solution Development: Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions such as reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
Data Modeling: Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data integration workflows to support BI solutions and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements for BI solutions; translate business needs into technical specifications.
Query Optimization: Optimize SQL queries and database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing for BI reporting and analytics.
Data Visualization: Create compelling and interactive data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and trends to business stakeholders.
BI Tool Administration: Administer BI platforms, manage user access, security permissions, and ensure the availability and reliability of BI solutions.
Documentation and Training: Document technical specifications, data flows, and BI solution architectures; provide training and support to business users on BI tools and solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics; propose and implement improvements to enhance BI capabilities and efficiency.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience (X years) as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong understanding of BI concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik for creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Strong SQL skills and experience in database development (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) and data modeling techniques.
Experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., SSIS, Informatica) for data integration and transformation.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and IT teams.
