Responsibilities

Provide direct hands-on assistance to Manufacturing personnel on the Siding production floor to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.

Manage process instrumentation and measurement systems.

Manage all aspects of the Plant’s color management system.

Submit and manage capital projects.

Lead/Assist on Improvement Projects and/or Events.

Troubleshoot extrusion process issues and color problems and recommend corrective action.

Participate in World Class Manufacturing Teams and Intergroup teams such as, Die and Sizer Team and the Manufacturing Materials Team.

Maintain technical competence and keep informed on new developments in materials, process technology, and product applications to assure the most appropriate methods and materials are used.

Deliver on SPG cost reduction initiatives.
