Responsibilities
Assisting the plant operations and maintenance team with technical expertise
Working directly with operations team to utilize productivity tracking tools such as Zarpac to improve reliability and TE performance
Troubleshooting equipment, optimizing performance, increasing reliability, and improving line efficiency
Evaluating minor stops and providing root cause analysis
Interfacing with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to ensure sound solutions
Managing installation contractors, vendors, and OEM Service Technicians
Project Management and Contractor Management
Specifying and recommending Packaging Equipment and Components
Enforcing applicable machine safety standards & Tropicana Standards
Working within cross-functional teams to deliver critical business initiatives

Required
Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other applicable engineering degree with relevant work experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Consumer Product Packaging Machinery, with a focus on efficiency improvement and reliability. Food and Beverage experience preferred.
Must be familiar with many aspects of high-speed packaging (primary and secondary) including; Liquid Filling, Labeling, Inspection, Case and Tray Forming, Shrink Wrapping, Conveying, and Palletizing.
Must be located in Bradenton, FL or willing to relocate to Bradenton, FL for the duration of employment
Strong written and verbal communication skills to support building strong internal and external relationships and effectively communicate your work product
Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
