Responsibilities
Fabrication of machined components using CNC mills, CNC lathes, and other precision equipment
Programming of CNC mills and lathes
Selection of the optimal tooling, feed rates, and paths to minimize manufacturing costs and ensure quality
Read and interpret technical drawings, data sheets, and specifications
Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges, and other instruments for precise measurements
Turn rolls and shafts on large swing CNC lathes
Machine setup, operation, and maintenance; upkeep of the work area in a clean and safe order
Handle heavy, large, or awkward parts manually or with material handling equipment
Enter raw material consumption, machine utilization, and labor in the CMMS/ERP software
Perform other duties as assigned

Required
Minimum of Associate's Degree in Machining Technology or comparable degree from an accredited college is preferred. A Machining Technology Certificate will be considered provided that the candidate has relevant work experience.
Minimum 5yrs experience operating CNC mills and lathes. Experience with DMG Mori equipment is preferred.
Proficiency in programming via G code; ability to program via CAM software is a plus

Ability to program CNC lathes and mills using CAM software
Good communication and collaboration skills
Experience using AutoCAD software is preferred
Experience with Google G Suite preferred
Willing to work overtime as needed
