Responsibilities
Identify customer needs and collaborate with Solutions Engineers and Regional Practice Leads to develop tailored solutions.
Analyze client requirements in government solicitations to assess compatibility with Mark43's offerings.
Lead in creating precise and compelling proposals, aligning technical objectives with cost estimates.
Ensure proposed solutions are feasible and cater to client needs, advising on customization and integration.
Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with requirements for comprehensive proposal submissions.
Act as a key link between various teams, translating technical details into clear language for proposals.
Work with Solutions Engineers to design and deliver effective demonstrations of proposed solutions.
Conduct post-submission reviews to refine the proposal process and gather insights.

Required
Minimum of 5 years in public safety, law enforcement, or emergency management.
Minimum of 3 years in a technical sales or field engineering role.
At least 2 years in roles related to government contracts and proposal development.
Experience in IT and cloud infrastructure.
Strong understanding of public safety software solutions, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity best practices. Ability to "work smart" through expert office tool use and automation of repetitive tasks.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details and value propositions to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements relevant to public safety and government software systems, such as CJIS security policy in the U.S.
Able to not only respond to the explicit needs laid out in solicitations but also anticipate and address underlying client needs and potential objections.
Strong capability in analyzing RFPs and other solicitation documents to understand client needs and requirements precisely.
Experience with software engineering, customer experience, and design architecture.
Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.
Preferred
A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related engineering fields is preferred but not required
Project development and leadership skills are preferred.
Public Safety or Defense experience are preferred.
