Responsibilities
Perform product design and development of new products tailored to meet customer programs and requirements.
Create 3D conceptual models and detailed drawings, procedures, and BOMs as needed for manufacturing and to meet design requirements.
Select material specifications to meet environmental requirements and initiate, review, and process ECOs for existing product designs and parts.
Collaborate with customers on design, interface, and functional details, and work with suppliers on prototype and production to ensure ease of manufacturability.
Participate in the Material Review Board and engage in problem-solving and failure analysis activities.
