Responsibilities

Lead a technical team in supporting new Projects and Programs through various engineering tasks from design to post-production.
Collaborate with other managers to meet drawing release dates, manage design updates, and provide production-related engineering support.
Manage staffing plans, staff performance evaluation, and early career development within the organization.
Support the transition to the new Mission PLM system and its related processes.
Maintain employee engagement and development through training, coaching, mentoring, and identification of stretch assignments.
Build and maintain relationships with direct staff, customers, and cross-organization partners.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience in an engineering and/or technical leadership role, or Master’s Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
Experience with engineering document generation and change processes.
Self-motivated, proactive, organized and detail oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work onsite full-time at the Baltimore (BWI) facility.
US Citizenship Required
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance or higher

Preferred

Experience with Teamcenter, NX, Xpedition, and/or Autocad design tools.
Expertise with Product Lifecycle Management methodologies
Demonstrated success leading, collaborating, and building high performing teams on complex technical projects.
Knowledge of Legacy ISE and CADSTAR systems
Experience with DMS resolution process
Experience with proposal writing
Shop follow and manufacturing problem resolution
Expertise in ASME Y14.100 engineering documentation requirements
Active DoD Secret Clearance or Higher
