Responsibilities

Make it easier for our customers to operate in AWS

Streamline the provisioning, management, monitoring, and support of customer workloads

Drive operational efficiencies and best practices through automation and creative approaches

Enforce best practices and provide cloud subject matter expertise

Provide recommendations on workload optimizations, cost reduction opportunities, and design changes

Participate in an on-call rotation for high severity incidents

Required

Expert-level knowledge/experience in AWS IaaS technologies (Firewalls, Load balancing, Compute, Storage, VPN)

Hub-spoke connectivity, VNET peering, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, etc.

Backup and Patching using AWS-native solutions

Complex cloud, hybrid-cloud deployments & support

Knowledge of IaC methodologies using ARM Templates / Bicep / Terraform

CI/CD pipelines, DevOps

Governance and Observability of cloud solutions

IAM, DNS, Security

AWS Solutions Architect Expert Certification or equivalent experience

Subject-matter expert for all things AWS Cloud

Design and Implementation of High Availability, High Performance resilient solutions with AWS native solutions

Strong understanding of different attributes for cloud application availability, scalability, and ability to propose optimized design for cloud

Preferred

Specialization in Networking, Security, and or Data Management preferred

Knowledge/experience with PaaS & SaaS services

Serverless architectures

Secondary knowledge of Azure Cloud

Containers / image management

Knowledge/experience with multi-cloud Networking providers such as Megaport
