Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the design and execution of advanced data science projects, including predictive modeling, machine learning, deep learning, and statistical analysis.
Utilize Python, SQL, and other data science tools to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Ensure the team’s work is aligned with business objectives and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
Develop and apply media mix models to optimize marketing spend across various channels.
Generate media insights to inform marketing strategies and measure the effectiveness of media campaigns.
Maintain familiarity with Nielsen or IRI data, and integrate this information into analyses and models.
Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Develop and maintain documentation for data science processes and models.
Stay current with the latest data science trends, tools, and technologies, including deep learning and Generative AI, and mentor team members to develop their skills.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of data and analytics deliverables.
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the data science team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Lead the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance business performance.
Oversee the deployment of large-scale data science models and ensure their scalability and reliability.

Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
7+ years of experience in data science and analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role and experience in building large-scale data science models.
Proficient in Python for data analysis and modeling.
Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
Experience with Nielsen and IRI data is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in building and deploying predictive models using deep learning and machine learning algorithms.
Knowledge and practical experience with Generative AI, natural language processing (NLP), and other advanced AI techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to various stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
Preferred
Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.
