Responsibilities
Contribute to product development while leading a skilled team of engineers focused on launching core products and features, supporting their growth and success along the way
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to provide guidance and support for their professional growth while also gathering feedback, addressing concerns, and aligning individual goals with team and company objectives
Anticipate and address challenges associated with growth, such as scaling products and processes under the guidance of senior leadership
Ensure that technical decisions align with quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and security goals while promoting engineering excellence
Implement strategies for team scalability, including workforce planning, talent development, and resource allocation, to support sustained growth and innovation
Foster a team collaboration culture, promoting alignment and encouraging adaptability and resilience
Empower team members to navigate ambiguity with confidence, fostering a shared sense of responsibility and ownership

Required
A proven track record of 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
Experience in a high-growth scaling startup where you’ve grown and led projects while still being hands-on
A keen attention to detail and a passion for building products to the highest standards across many dimensions (user experience, performance, reliability, security, etc.)
Experience establishing goals and deliverables, and the ability to keep key partners informed throughout the product development lifecycle
Experience attracting, retaining, supporting, and growing excellent Software Engineering talent
The ability to contribute to the team’s vision and roadmap by understanding our customers’ needs
