Responsibilities

Supporting the design and development of secure microservices

Refactor legacy applications into cloud native applications

Write high-quality, defect-free, secure, extensible, and reusable code in languages such as Java and React

Protect code with automated tests using tools such as Selenium grid, groovy, Karma, Jasmine + more

Support AWS Cloud infrastructure automation with tools like Gradle, Chef, Nexus, Knife, Docker, and monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, and Cloudwatch

Work within an Agile methodology with a focus on automation, continuous integration, and delivery

Utilize open-source tools like Docker, Gradle, Kubernetes, Grafana, Maven, Jenkins, Java, and Git

Contribute to eliminating technical debt

Adapt to additional responsibilities beyond those listed above as the role evolves

Required

Experience with Java and React is a major plus

Experience with continuous delivery and continuous integration techniques

Experience with test-driven development and automated testing practices

Experience designing and building cloud native applications a major plus

US Citizenship is required due to Government client requirements

Exceptional communication skills and desire to work in a 'badgeless' collaborative team environment consisting of Government clients, other Contractors, and Stakeholders

Strong desire to work in team environment and learn new skills
