Responsibilities
Oversee the management and development of construction operations, engineering, and business functions for major projects or multiple smaller projects, each valued over $30 million.
Ensure projects are completed in accordance with contract documents, permits, building codes, standards, and regulations.
Provide a safe working environment for all project personnel, ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulations.
Maintain a harassment-free workplace, ensuring compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action requirements.
Optimize the use of company equipment and resources, ensuring proper maintenance and safe operation.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and project associates.
Manage contract administration, ensuring all contractual and legal requirements are met, including scheduling, document control, change orders, daily reports, as-built documents, submittals, and weekly owner meetings.
Oversee project administration, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including cost management, quality control, recordkeeping, payroll, accounting, reporting, surveying, engineering, and purchasing.
Handle the financial aspects of projects, including accurate and timely pay estimates, accounts receivable, positive cash flow, and minimized retention.
Ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting, preparing and certifying monthly cost reports such as the Progress Statement and Job Operations Report (JOR).
Maintain control of the project schedule, ensuring milestones are met and critical tasks are completed on time or ahead of schedule.
Perform additional duties as required or assigned.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
At least eight years of construction experience, including three years in roles such as Job Superintendent II, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer on challenging projects.
Experience in Marine, Heavy Civil, and/or Industrial construction with advanced knowledge in related disciplines.
Ability to supervise, motivate, and lead project staff effectively.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to interact with senior management, clients, project staff, vendors, subcontractors, and other associates.
Proficiency in organizing, planning, and scheduling complex construction operations, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve problems and make informed engineering and business decisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and knowledge of computer-aided drafting (CAD) programs.
Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
