Responsibilities

Apply engineering or scientific expertise to design, acquire, and deliver innovative satellite systems.
Combine project management, systems engineering, and contract management skills to develop technology solutions for overhead collection requirements.
Acquire and deliver satellite systems, develop ground data processing solutions, operate satellites, and collaborate with customers and stakeholders in the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.

Required

Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation
A Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields or related studies (or comparable work experience): Aerospace engineering, Application development, Chemical engineering, Chemistry, Computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical engineering, Imagery science, Mathematics, Mechanical engineering, Optical engineering, Optical science, Physical sciences, Physics, Remote sensing/GIS, Systems engineering
At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale

Preferred

Advanced degree is strongly desired
Interest in applying technology to solve challenging problems
Foreign language capability
Strong verbal presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise text
Willingness to travel domestically
Experience in one or more of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Battery and power technology, Data engineering, Data science, Digital signal processing design and programming, Field programmable gate arrays (FPGA), High performance computing, Imagery science, Machine learning, Mission assurance, Power systems, Programming, Project/program management, Radiation hardening, RF communications, RF waveform design, Satellite bus and payload - power, structures, electronics, command/control, etc., Space systems operations, Satellite communications, Signal processing and analysis, Systems architecting, Systems engineering
