Responsibilities

Explore, shape, and develop new product experiences alongside cross-functional partners from ideation to implementation at scale

Lead investments into new technical capabilities to drive product innovation

Collaborate with peer engineering teams to integrate new features across the product

Build efficient and reusable frontend/backend components while ensuring high quality and performance

Develop services and APIs to support existing and new features for web and mobile apps

Work with data scientists and business analysts to utilize real-time event data for business insights

Optimize infrastructure and drive performance improvements to reduce costs

Required

5+ years of software development experience

Strong expertise in one or more back-end server languages (Java/Kotlin/C++/etc.)

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript

Extensive experience with modern Javascript frameworks such as React, Preact, Angular, Next, Vue or Meteor

Passion for delivering products end-to-end: from ideation through planning and scoping to implementation and experimental A/B testing

Understanding of frontend architecture and improving build processes (npm, yarn, webpack, parcel)

Experience in building and scaling high-quality and high-traffic products (or systems)

Architecting and promoting a library of reusable components

An understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

Passion for building interactive and delightful user experiences

Want to tackle projects with large open-ended scope and drive significant business impact
