Responsibilities
Assist with the design and implementation of networks, security and forensics capabilities.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and associated documentation.
Resolve critical issues requiring expertise and enterprise perspective.
Attend vendor meetings as a subject matter expert.
Review vendor contracts and statements of work.
Evaluate and introduce new vendors to solve business needs.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Assurance or a related field and 10+ years of hands on experience in IT network solution design, or similar role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with and knowledge of common IT frameworks such as NIST (SP 800-53), NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS, COBIT, ITIL, etc.
Strong design skills around networking (CCIE level preferred), firewalls, Cloud (Azure, GCP, OCI)
Design skills around Cisco ACI, Nutanix and VMware
Understanding and hands-on experience with network solutions from Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Nutanix, etc.; macro and micro-segmentation; WAN and LAN implementation and control; network performance management; logging, protocols, and security hardening.
Understand engineering domains of CCIE with Datacenter and Security, and Palo Alto Cortex
Proven ability to solve problems, thinking creatively, and design, implement and improve IT networks.
Experience working within small teams and with external (corporate and third-party) groups, preferably within an IT operations environment.
Highly motivated, self-starting individual able to multi-task and manage to timelines with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Proven strong oral and written communication / presentation skills to a broad range of employees. Able to clearly communicate technical details to IT and other technical personnel, but also simplify explanations for non-technical individuals and executives.
Strong interpersonal skills that establish and sustain close working relationships with functional teams and subject matter experts both internal and external to IT.
Strong documentation and ability to draw in Visio for design docs and mapping
Strong knowledge of premise and cloud network architecture
Ability to guide teams on producing/maintaining documentation to standards
