Responsibilities
Creatively solution and implement new features for Generative AI offerings, including testing and evaluating different LLMs and toolchains, continuously optimizing for cost and efficiency, and striving for higher quality results.
Continually optimize code for maximum performance.
Unit Testing of the features implemented.
Design robust, modular, and highly reusable code.
Take accountability for completing stories in each sprint and ensuring full end-to-end coverage.
Look for new ways to implement things better and contribute to web app innovation.
Participate in a fast-paced environment, recommend best practices, and drive forward innovation.

Required
Strong experience in software development with a genuine interest in AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models
Experience in Generative AI and large language models (LLMs)
Experience working with multiple cloud vendors, technology languages, and platforms (Python, Kubernetes, LLMs, etc.)
Experience in writing clean code with clean architecture and refactoring
Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to work Eastern Standard Hours (EST)
Understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence foundations
Understanding of large language models and their differences from ML/AI approaches
Experience with back-end technologies such as Python and Django
Experience with containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes
Exposure to different cloud infrastructures and use cases
Proven experience with relational databases
Proven experience with Unit Testing and TDD
Experience troubleshooting complex technical solutions
Ability to write clean, efficient, and robust code that can scale to handle high traffic
Preferred
Exposure to vector databases in a generative AI ecosystem
Experience using Hugging Face or similar sites for learning/sharing
Passionate early adopter of AI and Machine Learning
Passion for high-performance applications
Desire to grow skill set and experience in different technologies
Collaborative individual who excels in a team environment
Proactive and shows initiative
Values quality in work
Willingness to learn new skills and try new technologies
Experience with French language
Leadership training
