Responsibilities

Lead the design of complex projects and initiatives with companywide scope.

Create architectural artifacts for products and key technology initiatives focusing on network security.

Participate in defining future technology architecture and strategy by identifying modernization and simplification opportunities.

Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions.

Communicate companywide architecture strategy and direction to management and systems related teams.

Ensure applications adhere to established Wells Fargo standards, policies, methodologies, and industry best practices.

Required

4+ years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Preferred

Prior experience in a regulated industry (banking, financial, energy, government)

Deep understanding of network security protocols, architecture, and design principles

Experience with Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and other network security technologies

Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and network segmentation (macro and micro) solutions at scale

Experience with multi-cloud security architecture, design and implementation for regulated industries

Understanding of cloud-native and cloud-based security solutions, such as Google, AWS and Azure Cloud, as well as the ability to integrate these solutions into cloud security architectures

Strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Security and cloud certifications, such as CISSP, CCSP and Azure, AWS, GCP cloud certifications
