Responsibilities

Partner with leadership to translate business objectives into an optimal research scope (e.g., quantitative, qualitative, secondary, social analytics, media monitoring, advanced analytics, etc.)

Evaluate and recommend optimal methods for data collection.

Manage custom research projects, in partnership with senior staff, from proposal to presentation of key insights

Work cross-functionally to assist the team in building relevant primary research collection tools for customers.

With advice and oversight from senior staff, participate in survey design, questionnaire and discussion guide development, and preparation of analytic reports and presentations

Support client research needs and contribute innovative ideas and relevant solutions that exceed client expectations upon delivery.

Proactively coordinate research operations across multiple client accounts simultaneously to ensure everything stays on schedule.

Build a comprehensive understanding of research projects and subject matter by conducting secondary research as part of informing each research engagement

Analyze data and identify relevant trends and insights; Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format, such as graphs, charts, and other visual aids.

Use critical thinking skills to translate raw information into actionable intelligence including preparing and presenting reports to elite clients and management.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in marketing research, Statistics, Math, or a related field required

Strong interest in public and/or international affairs, policy, advocacy, or political research.

Significant experience running primary research projects such as surveys, focus groups, in-depth interviews, online bulletin boards, etc.

Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and related computer software packages.

Preferred

Experience with advanced analytics such regression, driver analysis, choice-based modeling, etc. is a plus
