Responsibilities

Infringement detection: Analysis of competitor and target products and perform reverse engineering; network traffic extraction monitoring, and testing.

Patent claim charting and assertion: Assist in preparation of patent-related infringement analyses and develop compelling evidence that clearly demonstrates infringement.

Patent mining: Identify patents relevant to particular products and services from existing portfolio and unlock new value from portfolio.

Conduct technical due diligence review in connection with potential patent acquisitions.

Required

Substantial technical industry experience (10+ years) with video streaming technologies and applications development including OTT and PayTV.

Demonstrated ability to deep-dive into new technologies when needed.

Advanced degree in computer science, electrical or computer engineering, or substantially similar technical field from a top-rated university.

Excellent drafting, communication, and project management skills.

Ability to clearly and succinctly articulate a compelling point of view.

Adept at influencing and leading individuals and teams that do not directly report to you to a common goal.

Motivated professional with high standards who can work independently and effectively on multiple projects, and desires to show ownership and commitment to the job.
