Responsibilities
Responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software according to Agile methodologies.
Work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on developing cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings.
Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle.
Guide and participate in design, development testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and resolution of reported issues.
Investigate and resolve complex customer issues.
Work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership.
Mentor other Boomi Quality Engineers, including design collaboration and test reviews.
Actively work towards scaling the product domain teams.
Gather information to help formulate acceptance criteria; serve as a user advocate, and be comfortable challenging and discussing the intent of stories to surface edge cases and improve outcomes.
Contribute to manual and automated testing suite to ensure future software stability.
Telecommuting allowed up to 60%.

Required
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
Alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related occupation
Demonstrated experience performing web application testing using Selenium WebDriver, Java, source control systems, continuous integration tools, and Web Services technologies (REST, SOAP, and WSDL)
Demonstrated experience using AWS technologies, including Cloudformation, S3, ECS, EKS, and EC2
Demonstrated experience performing API testing using ReadyAPI or similar tool
Demonstrated experience working with localization requirements
Demonstrated experience using collaboration tools, such as JIRA or Confluence
Demonstrated experience working in Linux and Unix environments
Demonstrated experience using SQL, relational database systems, and ORM tools (Hibernate)
Demonstrated experience working with highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems
Demonstrated experience using Application Performance Management tools
Demonstrated experience conducting performance testing using JMeter
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting customer issues in production environments
