Responsibilities
Plan, staff, and direct department activities, including budgeting, team development, and performance management.
Identify profit opportunities and develop actuarial assumptions to support product line objectives.
Partner with sales channels to enhance customer solutions and ensure profitability.
Assess and manage actuarial risks, adhering to regulatory standards and supporting enterprise-wide risk initiatives.

Required
Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) with a strong actuarial background
Demonstrated leadership in product development, incorporating actuarial expertise to drive business growth
Deep understanding of insurance products, pricing strategies, and industry trends
Strong problem-solving abilities and familiarity with actuarial modeling software (AXIS, ALFA, Prophet)
Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and effective communication across diverse teams
Preferred
Background in health and pricing
Familiarity with Long Term Care insurance
