Responsibilities
Manages office projects throughout the full project life-cycle, including the planning, budgeting, requirements development, design, development, and implementation phases.
Participates in long-range planning, development, and assessment of office procurement activities as they relate to data resource systems in support of the program.
Organizes and delivers briefings to present findings, solutions, and recommendations to program managers, scientific and technical staff.
Serves as the leader of the project team.
Assures resolution of administrative and policy issues or problems to avoid delays in achieving project goals.
Coordinates activities with the project team and the offices in the Center and external counterpart's projects.

Required
U.S. Citizenship
Completion of I-9 form and e-Verify process
Selective Service Registration for males born on or after 12/31/1959
Passing a background investigation
Meeting Time-in-Grade requirements if applying as a current Federal employee
Certification of Accuracy for eligibility and qualification information
Meeting all requirements by the closing date of the announcement
Direct Deposit for federal salary payments
Completion of a 1-year probationary period
Specialized experience in project management at the GS-12 or GS-13 level
Submission of supporting documentation to verify eligibility
SF-50 required for internal applicants
Providing transcripts if educational requirements are listed
