Responsibilities

Develop and implement quantitative models using Python.

Conduct data analysis and develop, test, and maintain high-performance applications.

Assist in requirements gathering, development, code deployment, enhancement, and fixes.

Participate in testing and documentation activities.

Utilize knowledge of APIs, integration, data extraction, and preprocessing.

Required

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology.

Experience in Python development and its frameworks (Django, Flask, etc.).

Preferred

At least 4 years of experience in Python development.

At least 4 years of years in software services industry and experience in software development and deployment process.

Good knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.

Knowledge of building RESTful APIs.

Experience in using ORM libraries like SQLAlchemy database operations.

Passion for coding and problem-solving

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly.

Experience with banking industry will be an added advantage.
