Responsibilities

Create the lean vision and continuous improvement strategy to enhance customer experience.
Deliver performance excellence through execution of lean initiatives and coaching of functional standard work.
Coach all levels in lean methodology, policy deployment, and problem-solving.
Ensure compliance with standard processes and tools, supporting value stream teams.
Coach plant operations in lean process and behavior changes.
Work with Engineering team to define process parameters.
Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

5 to 10 years of experience leading teams in a lean transformation in manufacturing, automotive or industrial environment is required.
Lean Six Sigma required: Green or Black Belt.
Experience with Lean and/or Kaizen.
Root cause problem solving tools ( A-3, 5Y, 8-D, Ishikawa, etc. ) required.
Knowledge of ERP systems: Dynamics, Epics, SAP.
Experience implementing and developing teams to implement pull systems.
Experience developing and refining Daily Management Systems.
History of leadership thru influence, coaching, mentoring and teaching.
A desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn and apply new skills.
Attentive to details and follows through on assigned tasks and commitments.
Flexible and driven to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and prioritize them appropriately.
Strong organizational skills, and ability to effectively disseminate information in a clear and concise manner.
Strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorship is not available.

Preferred

10 or more years of experience leading teams in a lean transformation in manufacturing, automotive or industrial environment is preferred.
Value stream mapping is preferred.
