Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of strategies to manage financial statement risks and ensure compliance.

Analyze complex problems related to technical accounting and regulatory obligations.

Establish and maintain metrics to measure accuracy and track errors within ARC.

Manage performance and SLA for a diverse team, including virtual team members.

Implement process, system, and internal control changes for month-end close processes.

Mentor and develop team members, manage audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required

13+ years of accounting and reporting experience.

6+ years of diversified leadership, team organization, and people motivation skills.

Hands-on experience leading change and business/process transformation in a Shared Service environment of a large complex public company.

CPA required.

Experience leading large, diverse teams in a Global Fortune 100 company setting.

Strong communication skills including ability to present to Senior/Executive Leadership.

Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships with facets of the organization to develop and execute plans, leveraging various teams across the organization.

Excellent team building skills, strategic problem-solving skills, strong project and resource management skills, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and internal control environments.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.

Preferred

Big-4 Firm audit or accounting advisory experience preferred.

Experience working with a global outsource provider preferred.

Advanced degree in accounting or finance preferred.

Must have the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
