Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, code, test, deliver, and debug software independently.

Ensure the team delivers to the highest standards and meets expectations.

Provide development guidance to less experienced colleagues.

Lead architecture/design sessions at the product level.

Comply with all published reference models and guidelines.

Keep senior management informed of technical trends and emerging technology.

Act as a consultant on best practices and provide technical mentorship.

Lead code and design reviews to maintain standards.

Proactively improve standards and procedures.

Utilize experience in various aspects of software development life cycle and quality control practices.

Serve as a technical resource and point of contact for applications.

Compare, evaluate, and implement new features and technologies.

Define key solutions and ensure they are managed.

Define principles to guide solution decisions for the enterprise.

Support enterprise tools needed for development and QA processes.

Lead and shape the outlook and attitudes to facilitate change from tactical to strategic orientation.

Translate and present technology solutions in business or management terms.
