Responsibilities

Batching process including lifting/carrying of ingredients and utensils

Reviewing and learning Standard Operating Procedures for equipment or processing lines

Providing hands-on support for planning, scheduling, execution, and documentation of technical center activities

Executing experiments for process improvements and formulation limitations

Assisting in development experiments with cross-functional teams

Communicating project status, risks, and scope clearly

Executing pilot plant production trials

Interfacing with key R&D functions and plant personnel

Completing documentation to high standards

Testing new raw materials for manufacturability impact

Adhering to innovation stage gate requirements

Required

Bachelor's Degree: Chemical or Food Engineering a must

1-3 years’ experience preferred

Liquid process design knowledge

Knowledge of design engineering, particularly in food science, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, sanitary piping practices and process and instrumentation diagrams

Experience in a consumer products research & development function desirable

Experience with development or manufacture of ready to serve beverages desirable

Background in commercialization of new products with CPG company a strong plus
