Responsibilities

Lead and perform process development for the antibody purification processes.

Lead, design and execute planned experiments which will include laboratory and occasional pilot-scale chromatography and filtration.

Lead, design and execute development studies to identify and determine appropriate conditions and ranges of (critical) process parameters for chromatographic purification & separation and several types of filtration.

Record, analyze and present data to project teams.

Required

Minimum of BS in Chemical Engineering or Biological Sciences or Biochemistry or related field and with at least 12 years of proven experience is required.

Knowledge and hands-on experience in downstream processing and purification of antibodies and/or antibody-based products, in particular chromatography and filtration.

Must be highly organized and capable of managing/pursuing multiple projects with some supervision.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Experience maintaining written records of work in the form of (electronic) notebooks, technical reports, and protocols.

Data reporting, ability to present findings to management, and experience with team-based collaborations.

Occasional weekend work is required as well as occasional travel in support of manufacturing.

Preferred

PhD in Chemical Engineering or Biological Sciences or Biochemistry or related field with 0-3 years of relevant post-doctoral experience OR MS in Chemical Engineering or Biological Sciences or Biochemistry or related field and with at least 7 years of proven experience is preferred.
