Responsibilities
Collaborates with faculty, associate directors, program administrators, and colleagues to manage, oversee, communicate, and evaluate projects using accepted project management methodologies and processes for the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health and Texas Child Mental Health programs. Collaborate with colleagues to track and facilitate progress on yearly goals and priorities.
Develops project budgets, schedules, work plans, resource requirements, and cost estimates. Compiles and distributes project information, project status reports, and project budget expenditures. Reports regularly on the status of all work products to designated leadership.
Oversees and supports the implementation, efficacy, and utilization of project management tools and process such as, new training materials, intranet resources, Smartsheets, documentation, and other guidance. Works closely with the Director of Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health and their delegates to develop and manage projects in a project management software. Updates dashboards, as needed.
Monitors and manages project quality and cost to ensure that project deliverables are acceptable, fulfill the terms, and requirements of the project’s statute, Consortium and University policy, and defined specifications. Assists with developing criteria for evaluating programs, proposals, and other pertinent information related to project assignments. Plans and manages efficient project meetings and supports documentation and record keeping.
Collaborates with team members and project stakeholders to identify potential risks and difficulties and facilitates the design of mitigation strategies. Coordinates project activities with other partners, governmental jurisdictions, or private sector partners and contractors.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university and at least five (5) years of professional experience.
At least two (2) years of experience in portfolio or project management.
Proficiency with at least one project management system (e.g., Smartsheet, Kanbanchi, or similar).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
Experience in project management in health, mental health, human services, non-profit, and/or education arenas.
Experience developing and maintaining clinical directories or databases.
Experience working in educational or health systems caring for children with behavioral or mental health challenges.
Experience developing and delivering presentations and program status reports.
Knowledge of best practices in project management and program improvement.
Experience in program evaluation.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or other similar demonstration of formal project management training.
