Responsibilities

Provide analytical support on M&A transactions, strategy projects, and venture capital investments.

Develop, maintain, and review complex financial models to support decision making for investments and M&A activities.

Work closely with various teams to prepare detailed financial forecasts for acquisition or investment targets.

Monitor competitive landscape and communicate relevant insights to the team and management.

Assist in determining key value drivers of corporate valuation and evaluating financial structures for transactions.

Prepare recommendations and presentations for senior management.

Coordinate due diligence for transactions and provide data for corporate functions.

Create and maintain reports on the performance of venture capital portfolio and strategic investments.

Assist in providing updates on corporate valuation metrics and financial analysis.

Complete ad-hoc projects and reports as needed.

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or closely related field strongly preferred.

3+ years of experience in financial modeling or business analysis.

Demonstrated interest in corporate finance and/or the energy industry.

Strong quantitative skills with a finance or statistical background.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in an open office team setting and matrix organization.

Preferred

MBA or master’s degree in a related discipline is a plus.

Ability to work in a results-oriented, project-driven, fast-paced, real-time team environment, prioritize projects and deliver quality results within tight time constraints

Aggressive self-starter with an attention to detail

Work in high-pressure dynamic environment with aggressive multiple deadlines.
