Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of mission critical security and related network components.

Manage internal and external operations teams, including documentation, procedures, metrics reporting, and root cause analysis.

Create and test security and network component performance, data backup, logging analysis, automation scripting, and disaster recovery procedures.

Manage vendors and resources to support operational requirements.

Remain current on new products, services, protocols, and standards for system design and development.

Assess system optimization or remediation needs, make recommendations, and execute them as required.

Required

Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 1 year of experience in the occupation or as a network security engineer or network security analyst

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the occupation or as a network security engineer or network security analyst

Must be well versed with Checkpoint firewall products and methods
