Responsibilities
Assist in the daily management of work flow for the Outpatient Clinic, including answering phones, scheduling, and maintaining calendars.
Complete all reports as requested by the Clinic Manager and Lead Administrative Assistant.
Maintain accurate client data, including demographics and insurance information.
Assist with filing, organizing paperwork, and office materials.
Receive and relay phone messages, emails, and faxes.
Perform various administrative tasks such as dictation, filing, typing, copying, and mailing.
Prepare statistical data and reports as requested by the Clinic Manager.
Collaborate with IT staff and other departments to support quality care for clients.
Order and track supplies for program needs.
Perform administrative and secretarial functions as required.
Interface with provider agencies and maintain positive relationships.
Communicate suggestions, concerns, and complaints to the Clinic Manager.
Demonstrate professionalism and provide quality service to clients.
Perform other duties as directed.

Required
Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
Valid NYS Drivers’ License
Two years of clerical or administrative experience
Effective communication abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Computer skills: 1 year
Administrative Support: 1 year
New York State Drivers License
Preferred
Associates Degree or higher education
Medical office experience
Office management experience
Ability to type at least 55 words per minute
