Responsibilities

Coach and mentor multiple individual contributors

Hold regular 1:1s with all your team members and oversee their work to make sure that it meets the objectives of our key deliverables

Drive process improvements to optimize team's productivity, delivery quality and effectiveness

Motivate, recruit and retain engineers

Design and develop backend services and APIs

Solve and mitigate backend technical problems with high complexity

Collaborate cross functionality with Product Management, Web Operations, Engineering and other stakeholders to implement new features and enhance our backend experience and interfaces

Conduct code reviews, and make valuable contributions to backend architecture

Write and deliver technical design documents
