Responsibilities
Manage and facilitate the development of marketing strategies, messaging, and campaigns for the US payer market. This includes development of compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with the payer audience, as well as the creation of value propositions that differentiate our products from competitors and align with payer market needs
Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends and conduct comprehensive market research to understand US payer segment needs, trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and potential challenges. Analyze data to generate actionable insights that inform product positioning and marketing strategies
Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for payer-focused products. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, etc. to ensure successful product launches
Collaborate with the product management team to develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of product features and benefits. Lead development and definition of ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and personas to inform the development and management of targeted multi-channel campaigns to generate awareness, brand affinity, and demand
Develop payer-specific content and announcements and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including corporate marketing, to update payers’ content on the website and Smile-owned social channels. Optimize content for search engines and ensure brand and voice consistency
Create various product marketing materials, including product information sheets, brochures, sales collateral, sales decks and other content for payer-related products and support cross-functional teams.
Drive product launches, follow-up on post-launch activities for launched products, and coordinate marketing campaigns to maximize product visibility and sales
Prepare marketing briefs for Corporate Marketing’s execution plans and generate regular reports on key performance indicators and marketing initiatives
Ensure all communications and interactions are conducted with the highest standards of professionalism and comply with all applicable policies

Required
5+ years of experience in product marketing, specifically with the US payer market. Previous experience at B2B technology start-up and/or the Health IT and/or SaaS industries is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is preferred
Understanding of technical concepts and information with the ability to translate complex ideas into user-friendly language
Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices
Proven self-starter with creative problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively and efficiently use software, including but not limited to, Windows/Mac, Google Suite, Atlassian, HubSpot, SalesForce and more
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
Strong organizational and project management skills
Preferred
Previous experience at B2B technology start-up and/or the Health IT and/or SaaS industries
