Responsibilities

Develop and automate high-performance data processing systems to drive business growth and improve the product experience.

Evangelize high-quality software engineering practices towards building scalable and reliable data infrastructure and pipelines.

Design and develop data pipelines using PySpark, Airflow, Kafka, and DBT.

Build reliable, efficient, testable, and maintainable data pipelines.

Implement and optimize data integration solutions using Databricks and Snowflake.

Provide production support and resolve high-priority incidents and development coding issues.

Work with cross-functional teams to enable data insights throughout the data lifecycle.

Develop and implement CI/CD processes for data pipelines.

Focus on automation to improve efficiency and reliability of data operations.

Required

2-3 years of experience designing and building scalable and robust data pipelines to enable data-driven decisions for the business.

1-2 years of hands-on experience with Cloud Data platforms such as Databricks/Snowflake/Redshift.

2-3 years of experience in data processing frameworks and ETL tools such as PySpark, Airflow, (Kafka, and DBT nice to have)

Strong fundamentals in one or more programming languages for processing large datasets, such as Python or Scala.

Experience working with version control, continuous integration, and release/change management tools.

Ability to write advanced SQL and perform SQL performance tuning.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred

Prior Data Engineering experience working in an AI/ML environment is a big plus.
