Responsibilities

Develop and track cost savings initiatives for implementation and financial impact
Collect, consolidate, and organize spend data from global locations
Conduct price and cost analyses on sources for new commodities, and indirect components and services
Monitor new supplier launches, PPV, and expected costs and provide feedback to Sourcing on variances
Assist managers in setting and tracking cost reduction efforts and initiate reporting
Work with Engineering on Product in Development (PID) projects to develop Cost Sets from global sources
Supply ad hoc reports as required in support of departmental projects
Identify and monitor market indicators for key commodities to ensure pricing levels are consistent with market forces
Project management responsibility for productivity initiatives within the department and supply base
Monitor key supplier metrics (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service) for all global locations
Assist sourcing managers in development and monitoring of supplier performance improvement plans
Ensure maintenance of supplier contract obligations
Support Corporate reporting requirements and assist in contract negotiation activities with supporting data/market analysis

Manufacturing KnowledgeOrganizational SkillsAnalytical SkillsCommunication Skills

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Engineering or related degree
Ability to organize/prioritize work to meet deadlines with a strong knowledge of manufacturing requirements
Knowledgeable of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRPII)/Master Production Schedule (MPS) process
Demonstrated strong and effective analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work across functional and organizational lines
