Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead qualification testing programs including endurance cycles, vibration, thermal cycling, proof of pressure, and freeze testing. Maintain project schedules, matrices, budgets, and dashboards.
Technical Documentation: Write, review, and approve test plans, procedures, and reports. Design, develop, and document test fixtures as necessary to support test plans.
Process Development: Develop and write Test Lab procedures. Provide input for resource planning to ensure availability of necessary tools, equipment, and fixtures for program test requirements.
Team Management: Provide leadership and managerial oversight to a team of Test Engineers and Technicians. Direct and support Test Engineers in conducting tests effectively and efficiently.
Talent Development: Develop talent within the team to ensure proficiency in performing various development and qualification tests. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to company safety policies and aerospace industry standards throughout all testing activities.

Required
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred
Prior engineering experience with qualification testing (water and vacuum systems preferred).
Prior aerospace industry experience preferred.
Experience with LabVIEW
Experience in designing and fabricating test fixtures.
Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.
Familiar with environmental qualification testing to the requirements of RTCA/DO-160.
