Responsibilities
Supporting field staff (Vegetation Management Inspectors) through field quality reviews, safety audits, in-field training, and reviewing company and Utility process/procedures
Attending and conducting meetings to ensure terms and conditions of the contract are being met
Assisting with training new employees on company policy and procedure
Coordinating work schedule and work plans
Preparing documents, reports, analysis, and presentations; including field benchmarks
Administrative support pertaining to utility audits, reports, schedule
Responsible for assisting with safety goals, requirements and needs for field staff
May assist in claims investigations, outage and fire investigations, support in corrective actions, and prepare inspection results
Other duties as assigned

Required
Education: 2 year degree in Forestry, Horticulture, Natural Resources, or other scientific field
Experience: At least 2 years in Utility Vegetation Management industry with 1 year of supervisor level experience
Certifications: ISA Certified Arborist
Knowledge of PG&E Vegetation Management programs
Familiarity with conducting audits
Working knowledge of PG&E’s data collection platform(s) and systems of records
Ability to work in rugged terrain and inclement weather
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Look-ups, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Self-starter with excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with senior management
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to exercise good judgement to make sound business decisions
Preferred
Education: 4 year degree in Forestry, Horticulture, Natural Resources, or other scientific field
Experience: 2 or more years of supervision on utility vegetation projects
Certifications: Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ)
