Responsibilities

Assist in preparation and distribution of the annual operating budget.

Monitors, reviews and analyzes financial results, trends, funding, expenses and reserves, in comparison to budget and forecast.

Support the preparation of reports and presentations on budget performance and supplemental analyses.

Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables such as budget reconciliations and various analysis.

Assist in compiling financial information and documentation needed by the College for external reporting.

Work with various departments to help manage their budgets and prepare budget reclass journal entries when necessary.

Analysis of benefits, dining and additional pay expenses in addition to tracking of all full-time and open positions.

Assist with financial and budgetary oversight of the student employment process.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, plus 3+ years of relevant experience

Financial experience with an institution of higher education or non-profit organization is highly desirable

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Must exhibit competence with verbal and written communication skills and an ability to maintain effective relationships with various campus departments and outside organizations

Ability to work individually or as part of a team
