Responsibilities
Passing on instructions to workers and distributing tasks within the work group.
Ensuring availability of necessary plans, materials, and tools.
Maintaining knowledge on procedures, policies, and directives.
Checking work progress and adherence to instructions.
Reporting on work status and progress to supervisors.
Installing insulating materials on piping, ducts, pumps, valves, and boilers.
Performing lead and asbestos removal and abatement.
Repairing and upgrading insulation for improved performance.
Utilizing various types of insulating materials and securing them in place.
Handling and/or removing friable and non-friable asbestos with proper precautions.
Complying with safety regulations and providing or receiving training on safety measures.

Required
Lead Abatement Certification
Asbestos and Confined Space Certification
Ability to lead people in the performance of insulation work
Pass a drug test
Meet the definition of specialized experience
Possession of a valid state motor vehicle operator's license
U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residence
Ability to meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement
