Responsibilities

Database Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of the MS Access database tool, including resolving technical issues, optimizing performance, and applying updates as necessary.

Data Integration: Import and manage data from various sources into the MS Access database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Tool Enhancement: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving the functionality and usability of the database. Develop and implement tools and functions within MS Access to meet these needs.

User Support: Provide support to multiple country teams, troubleshoot problems, and maintain strong working relationships.

Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure seamless operation of the database tool, sharing insights and best practices.

Network Management: Oversee the database residing on a separate network and ensure its reliability and security.

Required

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in mathematics, computer science, one of the physical sciences, engineering or a closely-related scientific discipline

Fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD

US Citizenship Required; Ability to obtain a closed, favorable Special Agent Check (SAC) prior to start date

Must have ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance after start date

Proficiency in Microsoft Access, including extensive experience with database maintenance and development

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of various country teams and users

MUST be willing to consent to personal, employment, clearance and education verification. No Exceptions!

Preferred

Previous experience with foreign military sales programs or working with international teams is a plus

Preference may be given if you live in a Hubzone Area (go to to check your status) which is a United States Small Business Administration (SBA) program for small companies that operate and employ people in Historically Underutilized Business Zones (Hubzone)
