Responsibilities
Assists the Director of Audience Insights & Evaluation in all stages of evaluation studies, including design of logic models, articulation of outcomes and research questions, evaluation planning, creation of data collection instruments, data entry and cleaning, data analysis or coding, data visualization, and reporting.
Develop and deliver audience research projects that are reliable, insightful, approachable, and accessible.
Organize and oversee marketing campaigns to create and manage a project plan that for the tasks, timelines, and resources required. Communicate with the project team to monitor progress to achieve timeline and budget goals.
Establish and manage processes for tracking progress against milestones, deadlines and budget scope of marketing campaigns.
Manage project tracking tools for marketing campaigns
Support the Marketing & Communications team’s business management needs, including invoice and expense processing; scheduling, calendar management and conference room booking; and other administrative functions.
Monitor budget for the Marketing and Communications team, including tracking expenditures, processing invoices and reporting. Track expenses against budget and report regularly to Department managers.
Gather data, enter data and assist in providing regular reporting on attendance, earned media, social media and other appropriate performance metrics. Work with Departmental managers to create regular updates on earned media, shared media and paid media results.
Coordinate all travel arrangements for Marketing and Communications team, expense reports and reimbursements
Assist in preparing presentations and proposals
Attend Marketing events as required to assist in coordination and implementation, occasionally outside of regular business hours. May include support of photo shoots, media visits, and exhibition openings.

Required
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree, 3-5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
Excellent writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Previous experience with word-processing software, accounting spreadsheet software, and computer-database management preferred
Prior experience in evaluation, research, visitor studies, or market research, preferably for an informal learning institution such as a nonprofit, museum, library, cultural organization, or foundation
Strong experience in qualitative or community-based/community-centered/community-responsive evaluation
Demonstrated experience contributing to evaluation projects, including knowledge of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods, analysis techniques, and sharing results clearly and effectively for a variety of stakeholders
Professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact diplomatically with staff members and other customers
Ability to work creatively, effectively, and independently on multiple projects simultaneously, and to be detail-oriented in a fast-paced, team environment
Excellent organizational ability and time management skills to establish timetables, meet strict and sometimes concurrent deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workloads
Ability to work with a wide variety of people in a variety of social settings
Preferred
Previous experience in evaluation, research, visitor studies, or market research
Strong experience in qualitative or community-based/community-centered/community-responsive evaluation
