Responsibilities

Guide the team on ATDD Processes and Technical implementation along with Design/enhance the automation framework.

Perform cross-browser testing using Selenium Grid.

Implement ATDD for web applications with technical knowledge in Selenium/Ruby programming language, Gherkins, and automation parsers like Cucumber/JBehave.

Automation of Mobile Web Applications preferred.

Conduct API Manual/Automation testing.

Utilize Atlassian tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Zapi, Confluence, etc.

Implement Service Virtualization using Wiremock.

Maintain coding standards around test automation, primarily Selenium/Ruby/Cucumber.

Possess exposure to Java, Selenium, JavaScript, different automation frameworks, and design patterns including Page-Object design pattern.

Create Class and Modules effectively and develop custom Gems.

Apply ATDD and BDD concepts with experience in Agile projects.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills and coach the team on Ruby, ATDD, and agile practices.

Coordinate closely with the team, perform POCs, and contribute individually to high-end technology solutions and development practices.

Required

Test Automation experience of at least 5-7 years using Selenium/Ruby/Cucumber

Hands-on Experience performing cross-browser testing using Selenium Grid

Must have ATDD implementation experience for web applications with technical knowledge in Selenium/Ruby programing language (not Ruby on rails), Gherkins and any automation parser like Cucumber/JBehave, Watir/Selenium web driver

Experience in API Manual/Automation testing

Quick Learner and Self driven leader

Experience on Atlassian tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Zapi, Confluence etc.

Good knowledge on various Ruby Gems

Strong experience with coding standards around test automation, primarily Selenium/Ruby/Cucumber

Experience in different automation frameworks and design pattern including Page-Object design pattern

Good knowledge in creating Class and Modules and their effective usages

Experience on ATDD and BDD concepts. Working experience on the same is preferred

Experience with Agile projects

Excellent communication skills

Experience Coaching the team on Ruby, ATDD & preferably agile practices

To be able to fit in as a team member as well as an individual contribution since the role requires very close coordination with the team as well as perform POCs to come up with new implementation as an individual

The project is for a US based capital markets client and the team is working on building high-end technology solutions and development practice of ATDD along with the latest on Test Automation and Devops.

ISTQB or ISTQB Advanced level Test Automation certificate

Preferred

Experience In Automation Of Mobile Web Applications

Service Virtualization using Wiremock preferred

Exposure to Java, Selenium, Java Script would be an added advantage

Good to have capability to develop custom Gems.
